Winning the Best Editing Award at Famufest 2024 is a great honor. Editing this film was a long and demanding process, with many revisions and challenges along the way. Being part of the Doc.Inkubator workshop earlier in the journey really helped shape the film, pushing us to refine it further. I'm pleased that Ian and his friends' story, living their outsider lives in a lavender distillery in the French countryside, received the recognition it deserved.
The editing took a long time, but the process was ultimately rewarding. I appreciate the support of the team who contributed to bringing the film to its final form.
Famufest 40 has been an exciting experience, and this recognition means a lot.
