Go see Ezra Šimek’s Joyful Flame and work of other laureates of Jindřich Chalupecký award
On 23 September 2022 at the space of National Gallery Prague at Veletržní Palác has started the collective exhibition of Jindřich Chalupecký laureates. Among most significant Czech artists like Olga Krykun, David Přílučík, Vojtěch Radakulan and Martina Drozd Smutná (whose work is worth seeing!) is going to be short movie Joyful Flame as a part of exhibited work of Ezra Šimek.
It was a great and fulfilling collaboration and experience to work on the editing of Ezra Šizmek’s movie. Their film is focused on important question of trans rights, gender, and political and social behavior towards queer people which is deeply rooted in the history of humankind.
The film will be screened at Veletržní Palác till November 8th 2023.
